My Dad prized justice. He knew, as do I, that justice depends on the integrity of the system utilized to achieve it. As a lawyer’s son, it seemed I was destined to be an attorney. I learned about law as any child experiences his father’s trade. I assimilated my Dad’s values and I am offended when the system does not work. If judges don’t do their jobs, lawyers can’t fairly represent their clients.
I am running for the position of Supreme Court Justice because the system too often fails. Today, our Supreme Court needs a lawyer with a depth of different legal experiences and knowledge. My opponent has been a Justice and judge for over 30 years. If you are not happy with Washington’s courts, now is the optimum time for change.
Elect Stafne for Justice to represent the people; to reduce the growing number of unpublished decisions and/or judicial orders which provide no reasoning for the results reached; and to responsibly supervise the lower courts.
